The African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) are long-term partners. To celebrate this solid partnership, both unions joined forces and created the AU-EU Champions project.
This annual initiative aims to enhance the positive impact of joint AU-EU policies, programmes and projects in Africa through the perspective of digital creators: TikTokers, Instagrammers, YouTubers, vloggers and podcasters.
For its first ever edition, 5 pilot countries have been selected: Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Mozambique.
They cover the 5 AU regions, ensure language balance (English, French and Portuguese), have strong social media activity and they’re home to impactful AU-EU projects.
The AU-EU Champions project seeks creative individuals (in these 5 countries) with a strong social media presence, with excellent storytelling skills and who consistently produce audio-visual content. Find out how to apply here.
Selected Champions will receive several benefits.
